Trading

Trading - If your trading stocks, why pay more for commissions than you have to? People usually start off with big name brand brokers (like I did) instead of shopping for the best broker. Although some go straight to the lowest fees, which isnt always good idea. Some of those trades may not be real time, meaning they trade when they get the order, but charge you for the highest price of the day. Or some just charge an outrageous $10.00 give or take a few bucks.

Some brokers are giving away free trades. Free is always good, but there is no such thing as a free lunch. Interactive Brokers was good, but they have started to get a few problems. Then I found out about Ameritrade Izone and their collaboration with CoolTrade. They offer the best prices for volume traders.

I have gone to a few Trader Expos and people are in love with their broker, and since Ameritrade is a big name brand broker, most people should mind switching their accounts for lower fees. Maybe people at other brokers will see that there are better companies out there that wont rip you off.
