Lawyer

Lawyer - Lawyers, Attorneys same thing. I prefer to use the term lawyer, but to each their own. I love the movie glamour of lawyer TV shows and movies. My favorite was Ally McBeal. All the neurosis and outlandish plots, with the very unique cases made for a great comedy. Reminds me of Night Court but with less slapstick comedy.

What I really want is a team of lawyers, like Mr. Burns from The Simpsons that will not only get me out of trouble, but crush my enemies! I have been threatened with lawyers many times. Thankfully, I know a little bit more about the law then the people accusing me of doing wrong.

For example, when I was apart of student government at the local community college. My advisor (whose mission in life to keep us like the high school) would say we couldnt do many things, that every other community college in California already did. I dont know why there was such a power struggle, perhaps I was someone that could actually get things done. But back to my story, I had recorded many meetings secretly on my mp3 player. And when I caught her in her double speak and lies, not only did I finally win the support of the students, but the scorn of administration.

Out came the lawyer talk, but Im no dummy. I used, How would the press like to know what youre trying to pull? Of course, they later said that they had something on me, but wouldnt press forward. HA! I had them the whole time!

The Brown Act states that any of our meetings may be attended by the public and recorded in any fashion.
