Degree

Degree - Ok, I have many different schools of thought on the subject. What does a degree mean to me? Nothing. Why? Because, I know too many stupid people with degrees. I know a nurse that thinks if you drink water after you take pills, it will dilute the effect. Medical profession is full of doctorates and yet I run into the stupidest people.

Dont get me started on the classes I have taken. PowerPoint lecture with the professor reading word for word what is on the PowerPoint. WTF I dont need to be babysat, and I definitely dont need to be read to. I learned how to read a long time ago, thank you.

But like I said, I have conflicting views, because I met my wife at college. I met some great mentors in college and I learned a lot of life lessons from talking to my professors outside of class.

But thats the U.S. work hard to get a degree, get into massive debt, spend the rest of your life making money and ignore the problems, because we had to go through it and it wasnt so bad. Just because you made it, doesnt mean everyone else will. Dont get me wrong, I have no problems in school or financially (yet) nor do I have any problems getting the highest marks, but when I see a problem I call it out.
