Data Recovery

Data recovery has saved my behind a few times. Right now I use alot of Backup software in conjuction with recovery. My first computer was super slow and would get stuck all the time. So I would hit the reset button often. I never lost data hitting the reset button. But that was back then and when I had a 20GB hard drive and an ultra slow store bought computer. Nowadays, I got a self-built mega machine with over 2TB of storage and data recovery is a must. You will never see me hit reset now, that’s the biggest no no. It was probably not the best thing to do back then either, but I never noticed a difference.

Once, my computer “crashed” so bad that I couldn’t load it up. Of course, back then I was still learning. So I tried to reinstall windows on a different drive that had space so I could recover all my files on the “crashed” drive. Well, the letters C: and D: were missing there was just C: and blank.  So I installed it on the blank one, because I knew that C: was my primary drive. Guess what? It wasn’t. The blank labeled drive was the one that had all my information on it and I had just copied windows over it. Bye Bye, data.

Nowadays, put everything on the laptop and ruin it instead of my "main" computer, but a folder might become corrupt or “lost” and data recovery is the perfect solution.
