Paris Hilton

Paris Hilton - I actually saw Paris Hilton once at the Staples center in L.A.  It was Matt Hughes vs. Royce Gracie, UFC 60. A friend of mine had taken me on a whim, and oddly enough, I had the exact same seats as when I took my brother to WWE 21 (Wrestlemania Goes Hollywood).

Before the fight started, they had a video shots of the celebrities in the Audience. If I remember correctly, Nicholas Cage, Michael Clarke Duncan, Cindy Crawford, and WWE’s “The Rock” were at attendance. There were more and I had to look them up, but those are ones that I recall, along with Paris Hilton. Each star flashed on the big screen and a cheer would follow, until Paris was up. The entire stadium erupted in the longest loudest BOO I have ever heard.

At that moment I felt bad. Even in a testosterone rich, chest banging, blood lusting environment I felt bad for Paris. Perhaps it’s because I don’t know very much about Paris Hilton, I don’t watch much TV or read the papers or tabloids. Ignorance is bliss. People hate her for this and that, but it comes down to jealousy, plain and simple. If my life was under the microscope you would see how much of a screw up I was. I don’t see any difference. In fact, most people make the same mistakes that she has, but it’s not plastered all over the papers.
