Aishwarya Rai

Personally, I had never heard of Aishwarya Rai before I wrote this. So I did a little research and I found an article entitled, “The World's Most Beautiful Woman?” She is very beautiful and I appreciate that she is humble too, it’s difficult to shrug aside the possibility of being the new Cleopatra. I did find one thing that bothered me about the article. She became an actress to change how the world sees india, and yet toward the end of the article, Would an onscreen kiss create a scandal for Rai back in India? "It would definitely be a topic of discussion," she says. "They're gonna enjoy it."  This appears to me that she is trying to “change” India.

I love how the writer makes a point to show that she still lives with her parents... What’s wrong with that?! It might be frowned upon in American society, but shes not exactly born in the States. Besides I believe in the closeness of family, and for those of you that remember your history. It wasn’t more than a few decades ago that 3 to 4 generations would live under the same roof.
