Once you have your credit report, it will show the areas that are bringing down your score. Dont get overwhelmed by the format, it looks confusing. But take the time to read it from top to bottom and it will make sense.

Its usually not a secret why someone has bad credit, but by fixing the items that bring down your score the most you can raise your score faster.
