Affiliate

Affiliate - Personally, I dont trust affiliate programs. Although I use them, often I feel I am getting ripped off. Which is fine, I dont send much traffic to affiliates, and unless they are a renowned company, I wont trust them. However, if they prove to be trustworthy then Ill give them slack. Everyone deserves a chance.

I dont use affiliate programs that pay the most, I endorse products that I feel are either worth it or the best. I am one of those people that will search for hours for the best deal, just to save a few dollars at times. So I figure I will help others find the same deal if they have an affiliate program. Why not make some money at the same time? It doesnt cost the buyer an extra dollar perhaps in the overall scheme but I paid the same as they will.

But the internet isnt built on that concept, its how much you can charge and get away with. Business in general is built on that concept. Advertise as the best and people think you are the best regardless of the comparisons. For example, what is the best home theatre system on the market? If you thought it was Bose then think again.
